In a fast paced, and bewilderingly chaotic and complex world, where we nevertheless drown in the shallow dross of the prevailing cultural paradigm, do you long for depth, stillness and meaningful joy?
There is something so ancient and soothing and revealing in simply watching birds in their natural environment, that I decided to create Bird Folk, an experience in community to bring our hearts minds and spirits back in alignment .

“We will be gathering for four Saturdays in March, April, May and June 2027, in a magical location in West Cornwall to work with the feathered ones both the local ones we meet and the ones in more esoteric places.
Using a range of modalities we will be working with folklore, spirituality, song, writing and art to explore our relationship with birds, ourselves and each other.
There is a special magic in working with others in a closed container, where as a group we deepen each month. Connections forged are not quickly forgotten.
Practicals
Bird Folk will run for four Saturdays from March to June 2027. Exact dates to be announced very soon.
Days will run from 10-4 with a delicious home cooked lunch and teas/snacks included.
Each Saturday will focus on a different aspect of bird connection and lore, and we will be spending time outside in the stunning local woods and on the coastline as well as firepit time and cosy yurt circles. There will be silent times and sharing times, moments of creativity and story, singing and reflection.
There is basic camping style accommodation if needed for anyone travelling for a small additional cost.
